Cheers, and don't get me wrong, I do like the track I just can't really justify travelling there to sit a field with no facilities and crap lifts when I can get to Fort William in about the same amount of time. I think the problem stems from Health and Safety rearing it's ugly head. (stay with me on this..) You used to be able to stand at the front of the trailer with your front wheel between your legs and this prevented it from getting damaged. But when health and safety dictated that the riders and bike had to be seperated, it all went to shit and resulted a lot of buggered bikes. I ended up pushing my bike up the hill in the end. If I smash something up through my own stupid fault I'm not too bothered, because it was my own stupid fault. I accept the odd scratch here and there from uplifts after all I've been getting them for 17 years and I always tape it where it will get damaged from riding. I just seen this as totally unacceptable. That's why I personally would never go back.
